Spain seizes over 11 tons of hashish with help from Morocco’s DGSN

Spanish and Moroccan police have dismantled a criminal network after seizing more than 11 tons of hashish destined for Algeciras.

In collaboration with Morocco’s General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), Spain’s National Police announced on Tuesday, September 30, that it had seized 9.3 tons of hashish hidden among pallets of melons in a refrigerated truck and another 1.8 tons concealed inside a furniture-loaded van in Málaga.

Ten people were arrested on charges of drug trafficking and belonging to a criminal organization.
