King Mohammed VI to deliver opening speech for new parliamentary year on Friday

King Mohammed VI will preside on Friday, October 10, over the opening of the first session of the fifth legislative year of the 11th Legislature, the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol, and Chancellery announced.

The ceremony will take place at the Parliament headquarters in Rabat, where the monarch will deliver a speech before members of both Houses, the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors.

The Royal Address will be broadcast live on national radio and television starting at 4:30 p.m.
