The National Airports Authority (ONDA) has named El Mokhtar Dahraoui as the new director of Rabat-Salé Airport. This strategic move, as detailed in a recent statement, is part of ONDA's broader initiative to modernize its network and enhance governance in the capital, especially given its increasing prominence on both national and international fronts.
Dahraoui, an engineer by profession, holds a degree in aviation security electronics from the Mohammed VI International Academy of Civil Aviation, alongside a master's in software engineering and intelligent systems. With over two decades of experience at ONDA, he has previously overseen the operations of airports in Dakhla, El Hoceima, and Agadir, where he spearheaded major modernization efforts.
ONDA's decision to appoint Dahraoui underscores its dedication to elevating Rabat-Salé Airport's profile and aligns with the «Airports 2030» strategy, which seeks to ready the national airport network for Morocco's future connectivity and operational excellence needs.
