The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Saturday that it has set a new sales record, with over 250,000 tickets sold during the first three days of the initial ticket sales phase for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025.

In a statement published on its official website, CAF specified that fans from 135 countries have booked their seats for the African football extravaganza via the official ticketing platform (tickets.cafonline.com), reflecting the global enthusiasm for this edition of AFCON.

The first three days of the initial phase saw the sale of more than 250,000 tickets, setting a new record for both CAF and AFCON, explained the governing body of African football. This initial sales phase covered one-third of the total capacity of the stadiums set to host the competition's matches.

Furthermore, CAF indicated that tickets for the matches of the Moroccan national team were sold out within the first hour of the initial sales phase.
