The French chapter of the GenZ Morocco movement has declared its intention to take part in the commemoration marking 60 years since the disappearance of Mehdi Ben Barka. This announcement was made on Saturday evening during a general assembly held in Gennevilliers, located in the Paris region, and was attended by approximately forty activists, as confirmed by a source present at the event and contacted by «Yabiladi».
Mehdi Ben Barka, a key figure in the Moroccan opposition and the president of the Preparatory Committee for the Tricontinental Conference, was abducted on October 29, 1965, in Paris. This operation involved Moroccan security agents and was executed with the assistance of French police officers and criminals. Additionally, the Paris branch of the Israeli intelligence services provided logistical support to those responsible for the abduction.
