Achraf Hakimi shines with double as PSG tops Ligue 1 after Brest victory

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi delivered a spectacular performance on Saturday night, scoring twice against Stade Brestois and propelling PSG back to the summit of the Ligue 1 standings.

In a commanding display, the PSG captain broke the deadlock with an unstoppable right-footed shot in the 29th minute, courtesy of an assist from Vitinha. He then doubled the lead just ten minutes later, following a brilliant setup by Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia.

After enduring two consecutive league draws, Luis Enrique's squad returned to their winning ways with a 3-0 victory at the Francis-Le Blé Stadium in Brest. The second-half introductions of Dembélé, Marquinhos, and Doué further intensified Paris's dominance, culminating in a third goal during stoppage time.

With this victory, PSG temporarily takes the lead in the Ligue 1 standings, sitting two points clear of Olympique de Marseille, who are scheduled to face Lens later in the evening.
