Moroccan futsal team advances to Islamic Solidarity Games semi-finals after defeating Afghanistan

The Moroccan national futsal team has clinched a spot in the semi-finals of the 6th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games. This achievement comes after a decisive 4-0 victory over Afghanistan on Saturday in Riyadh, marking the culmination of Group B's third and final day.

Hicham Dguig's squad saw Soufiane El Mesrar score, while Bilal El Bakkali delivered an impressive performance with a hat-trick.

With this triumph, Morocco firmly secures the top position in Group B, amassing a total of 7 points.

In the semi-final on Sunday, Morocco is set to face the runner-up from Group A.

A delegation of 76 athletes represents Morocco at the Islamic Solidarity Games.
