Morocco's women's futsal team faces tough start against Argentina in World Cup opener

On Friday in Manila, the Moroccan women's national futsal team suffered a heavy defeat against Argentina, losing 0-6 in their opening match of Group A at the Women's Futsal World Cup. This tournament is taking place from November 21 to December 7 in the Philippines.

The match, held at the PhilSports Arena, saw Morocco trailing 0-4 by halftime. As the current African champions in the sport, the national team is set to face the host nation, the Philippines, on Monday at 1:30 PM GMT+1 for their second group stage encounter.

Morocco is competing in Group A of this inaugural Women's Futsal World Cup, alongside teams from Poland, the Philippines, and Argentina.
