Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri played a key role on Sunday for Fenerbahçe's commanding away victory against Rizespor (5-2) during the 13th round of the Turkish football championship (Süper Lig).
En-Nesyri scored the match's fourth goal in the 78th minute following a decisive pass from his teammate Nene Dorgeles, giving his club a comfortable lead over their opponent.
Rizespor opened the scoring in the 6th minute through Ali Sowe, and doubled their lead in the 15th minute thanks to Qazim Laçi, following some defensive lapses in the Fenerbahçe ranks.
Fenerbahçe regained their composure in the second half, reducing the deficit through Spanish player Marco Asensio in the 55th minute, before Brazilian star Talisca netted the equalizer in the 58th minute.
Fenerbahçe's third goal came just three minutes later, courtesy of Asensio. The team further asserted their dominance with two additional goals, scored by En-Nesyri in the 78th minute and Archie Brown in the 88th minute.
With this victory, Fenerbahçe now has 31 points, maintaining their position in second place in the Süper Lig, just one point behind leader Galatasaray. Conversely, Rizespor remains stuck in 11th place with 14 points.
