Morocco : Thunderstorms and snowfall expected this Wednesday

The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has announced that several provinces in Morocco should brace for showers, potentially accompanied by thunderstorms, as well as snowfall on Wednesday.

The DGM's weather alert, issued at the orange vigilance level, predicts stormy showers ranging from 20 to 30 mm in the provinces of Safi, Essaouira, and Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane. These conditions are expected to occur between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

At the same time, snowfall measuring between 10 and 20 cm is anticipated at altitudes above 1,900 meters in the provinces of Azilal, Al Haouz, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, and Midelt. This is expected to happen from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Wednesday, according to the same source.
