Fireworks and small fires in Molenbeek after Morocco beats Zambia

On Monday, following Morocco’s Africa Cup of Nations victory over Zambia (3-0) in their group-stage match at Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, celebrations erupted that evening in Brussels’ Molenbeek neighborhood.

Fireworks, small street fires, and honking cars marked the celebrations. A video shared by De Telegraaf showed cars spinning around a roundabout, with a fire lit at its center.

With the win, Morocco collected seven points from three matches and secured qualification for the round of 16. Their next opponent has yet to be determined, with the knockout match scheduled for Sunday at 5:00 pm.
