Cold wave expected in Morocco from Friday to Sunday

A cold wave is set to sweep across several Moroccan provinces from Friday to Sunday, as announced by the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) on Thursday.

Temperatures are expected to plummet between -08 and -03°C during this period in the provinces of Taza, Ouarzazate, Taroudant, Tinghir, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Ifrane, Khénifra, Midelt, Boulemane, Sefrou, and Guercif, according to an orange-level alert issued by the DGM.
