Morocco recorded a record 36.3 million air passengers in 2025, marking an 11% increase compared to 2024. According to the National Airports Office (ONDA), the figure reflects the impact of the Airports 2030 strategy and efforts to support the country’s growing international appeal.
The past year thus marked a pivotal moment, confirming the upward momentum driven by both major hubs and regional airports. In this regard, ONDA said the growth was fueled in part by the success of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 and the influx of international supporters.
In concrete terms, «Casablanca airport exceeded 11 million passengers by December», in line with the development plan of Royal Air Maroc (RAM). For the first time, Marrakech reached «the milestone of 10 million annual passengers», while Rabat–Salé «recorded exceptional growth of 26%, surpassing the 2 million passenger threshold».
Overall, Morocco’s five main airports «account for nearly 90% of national passenger traffic», with tourism and international arrivals making a significant contribution to these results.
In this context, ONDA highlighted the many «symbolic milestones reached in 2025, illustrating the shift in scale of the national airport network».
