The Egyptian Football Association has praised Morocco’s outstanding organizational success in hosting the Africa Cup of Nations, saying the kingdom has set a benchmark at both continental and Arab levels in terms of hosting standards, organizational quality, and infrastructure.

The praise was conveyed in an official congratulatory message sent by the Egyptian federation to Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, expressing deep appreciation for the high level at which the tournament was delivered. The federation noted that the event reflects the significant progress Morocco has made in organizing major sporting competitions.

In the statement, signed by EFA Chairman Hani Abo Rida, the association stressed that Morocco’s achievement goes beyond national success, describing it as a source of pride for the entire Arab world. It added that the Moroccan experience now stands as a reference point for advancing African football toward greater professionalism and excellence.

The statement also highlighted the warm and welcoming reception given to the Egyptian national team delegation in Morocco, noting that it left a lasting impression on all its members and reflected the strong fraternal ties uniting the two brotherly peoples.
