Tangier-Assilah schools suspend classes February 4 due to weather disruptions

The Provincial Directorate of National Education in Tangier–Assilah announced on Tuesday the exceptional suspension of classes in all public and private schools on February 4 due to adverse weather conditions.

The decision aims to ensure the safety of students and school staff and follows a weather alert issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology, as well as recommendations from the Provincial Monitoring Committee, in coordination with local authorities.

Similar class suspensions have also been announced in Ouezzane, Al Hoceima, Chefchaouen, M’diq–Fnideq, Fahs-Anjra, and Larache, with authorities saying the situation will be reassessed depending on weather developments.
