Morocco named Partner Destination of the Year 2025 by SETO

Morocco has been honored as the «Partner Destination of the Year 2025» by the Union of Tour Operating Companies (SETO). The prestigious award was presented in Paris to Achraf Fayda, Director General of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), by SETO President Patrice Caradec. This accolade celebrates the outstanding partnership between the ONMT and leading French tour operators, as well as Morocco's consistent performance in one of its most vital markets.

The ONMT's initiatives with top French operators, encompassing commercial engagement, strategic support, air travel assistance, and regional promotion, have significantly boosted Morocco's allure and enhanced the value of its tourism offerings, according to an ONMT press release.

«This momentum is reflected in solid results», the release highlights, noting that in 2025, Morocco welcomed 5,763,404 French tourists, marking an 11% increase and accounting for 29% of arrivals from France. The SETO barometer indicates that the 2025 fiscal year, spanning departures from November 1 to October 31, experienced an 8% rise in passenger numbers, alongside a 5% increase in average unit revenue, reaching 1,019 euros.

The press release further states that future prospects are promising, with winter reservations as of November 30, 2025, showing an 11% rise in passengers and a 4% increase in unit revenue, reaching 1,058 euros.

In light of this recognition, SETO has selected Morocco to host its annual Forum. This premier tourism event in France will take place in Tetouan from March 25 to 27, 2026.
