Snowfall is expected from 1,800 meters above sea level, from Tuesday to Thursday, in several provinces of the Kingdom, according to a weather alert from the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
The heaviest accumulations, estimated to be between 25 and 35 centimeters, will affect the provinces of Taroudant, Al Haouz, Azilal, and Ouarzazate. Snowfall ranging from 15 to 25 centimeters is also anticipated in Midelt, Béni Mellal, Ifrane, Khénifra, Chichaoua, and Tinghir.
The DGM has classified this snowy episode as an orange level alert, urging caution, especially on mountain roads that may be disrupted.
