Fire at Morocco Mall construction site in Marrakech, no casualties

A fire broke out on Thursday afternoon, April 2, at the construction site of the Morocco Mall in Marrakech. No casualties were reported, and the damage was limited to minor material losses.

According to local sources, the fire started on the facade of the shopping center, which is in its final stages of construction ahead of its expected opening in the coming weeks.

Civil protection units were quickly dispatched to the scene and managed to contain and fully extinguish the blaze.

Authorities have since launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
