DR

On Monday in Marrakech, Technopark Morocco and French Tech Casablanca signed a cooperation agreement aimed at fostering innovation within the Moroccan and French ecosystems in digital technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), and new technologies.

The agreement was signed by Technopark Morocco’s general director, Lamiae Benmakhlouf, and French Tech Casablanca president William Simoncelli, on the sidelines of GITEX Africa 2026. The ceremony took place in the presence of Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, and France’s Minister for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs Anne Le Hénanff, along with French business leaders attending the event.

The partnership aims to pool resources and expertise to support startups in accessing markets and scaling their activities.

Under the agreement, Technopark Morocco will support the roadmap of French Tech Maroc as part of its regional expansion strategy, ensuring coordination in identifying startups’ needs, mobilizing experts and partners, and providing dedicated spaces for events.

Founded in 2001 in Casablanca, Technopark is a business incubator supporting startups mainly in IT, consulting, services, and communication.

French Tech Maroc, part of the global French Tech network, brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem players, with the goal of strengthening Morocco’s startup environment and facilitating connections with international French Tech communities.
