The Crown Prince explored the tower's various highlights, starting with the grand lobby where he was briefed on the building's features and admired samples of Moroccan artisanal materials used in its construction. He also visited areas designed for conferences and the library.
Moulay El Hassan toured a model apartment, the Waldorf Astoria hotel, and ascended to the heritage observatory at the tower's summit. From this vantage point, a panoramic view unfolds, showcasing Rabat and Salé's ancient walls, kasbahs, and gates, each narrating the storied past of these twin cities.
Soaring 250 meters high with 55 floors, the new tower reshapes Rabat's skyline, merging cutting-edge engineering with sophisticated design while meeting rigorous environmental standards.
This project is a key element of the Bouregreg Valley development initiative, part of the broader integrated development strategy for Rabat, celebrated as the city of light and the Moroccan capital of culture.
Backed by O Capital Group, the tower includes a luxury hotel, offices, residences, a heritage observatory, a conference hall, shops, and restaurants, all efficiently serviced by 36 elevators.
Constructed on robust 60-meter deep foundations, the tower is engineered to endure earthquakes and river floods, ensuring long-term stability in a challenging geotechnical setting.
Beyond its energy efficiency, the tower integrates advanced systems for energy recovery and rainwater harvesting. These innovations have earned the Mohammed VI Tower LEED Gold and HQE certifications, placing it among Africa's most innovative and high-performance structures.
