Maroc Telecom has warned against the circulation of fraudulent online offers claiming to provide free mobile plans, stressing that these are in no way affiliated with the company.
In a statement, the operator said that certain pages and websites are advertising so-called free subscriptions for numbers starting with 0661, describing these claims as misleading. It emphasized that all official offers are published exclusively on its website, www.iam.ma.
Maroc Telecom urged customers to remain vigilant when encountering promotional offers online and to verify their source before engaging, in order to avoid falling victim to scams.
The company also cautioned against entering personal or banking information on untrusted websites, noting that protecting customer data remains a top priority.
It concluded by reiterating that its official website, along with its network of agencies across the kingdom, are the only reliable channels for accessing accurate information and services.
