Akhannouch predicts end to Iran conflict and fuel price drop within three months
DR

On Tuesday, the head of the government addressed the House of Representatives, suggesting that the conflict in Iran could potentially conclude within «three months». Aziz Akhannouch expressed optimism about an impending drop in fuel prices, predicting they would revert to levels seen prior to February 28.

Akhannouch reminded the audience that the global oil market had seen similar spikes during the COVID-19 pandemic and the early stages of the Ukraine conflict. He noted that fuel prices had previously surged to highs of 16 and 17 dirhams before settling back to around 10 dirhams. He also highlighted that Morocco has no influence over the geopolitical dynamics affecting the Strait of Hormuz blockade.

The government had extended financial aid to freight and passenger transporters from March 15 to April 15. Furthermore, the subsidy for butane gas cylinders costs the government 1.6 billion dirhams monthly, as disclosed by the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa, on April 2 during a press briefing.

Ah, the Persians are doing great! They're smashing the enemy wherever they can reach, regardless of NATOs, alliances, and other such nonsense. They're not smacking their lips or buying markers for red lines. I wouldn't be surprised if they even start a sabotage war in the US and its satellite countries. I'm absolutely envious of the Iranian people for having such leaders. May God grant them victory over the enemy.
