On Monday in Rabat, the President of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, engaged in discussions with Khaleefa Suleiman Mohammad Al-Diyat, head of the Permanent Administrative Commission of the Jordanian House of Representatives. Al-Diyat is leading a parliamentary delegation on a working visit to Morocco from May 3 to 10.

During the meeting, both leaders lauded the longstanding ties between Morocco and Jordan, as noted in a statement from the House of Representatives. Talbi Alami outlined the key institutional reforms in Morocco, highlighting the country's parliamentary achievements and the functions of the House of Representatives.

Al-Diyat underscored that this visit aims to bolster the strong relations between the two legislative bodies, with a focus on enhancing the exchange of knowledge and expertise.

He also stressed the Jordanian legislative body's commitment to deepening bilateral and multilateral parliamentary cooperation, and to fostering communication, consultation, and dialogue among parliamentarians.

Moreover, Al-Diyat remarked that this visit offers a valuable opportunity to draw from Morocco's experience in decentralization and territorial management, expressing admiration for the profound fraternal and historical bonds between the two nations, their leaders, and their citizens.

During their stay, the Jordanian delegation is scheduled to participate in meetings and field visits to explore the significant projects underway in Morocco.
