The Moroccan national girls' tennis team showcased remarkable talent at the 15th African U14 Tennis Championship held in Cairo, Egypt, wrapping up their campaign on Saturday.

The team secured a commendable second place after a closely contested 2-1 defeat against Egypt in the finals. Throughout the tournament, Morocco demonstrated their prowess with victories over South Africa, Kenya, Botswana, and Tunisia.

The squad, featuring Dina Jaoued, Joumana El Ouazzani, and Nouha Touimi, has earned a spot in the final phase of the World Team Cup, set to take place in the Czech Republic next August.

The competition saw participation from six teams: Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, South Africa, Kenya, and Botswana.

The top two teams from both the boys' and girls' categories will advance to the U14 World Team Championship, scheduled for next summer in the Czech Republic.
