A 22-year-old Moroccan man was killed after being shot in the chest during an exchange of gunfire between two gangs on Monday evening in the town of Torrelodones, on the outskirts of Madrid, Spain.
The incident took place at around 9:30 p.m. in a park, after members of a group of young men of Moroccan origin from Collado Villalba met with another group from Alcobendas with the intention of fighting.
According to Spanish media, one of those involved pulled out a firearm and fired several shots, leaving the Moroccan man seriously wounded. His friends took him to the hospital, but he died shortly afterward from his injuries.
Spanish authorities have arrested three people in connection with the incident, while Civil Guard officers are continuing their investigation to determine the full circumstances of what happened.
