Morocco calls for swift implementation and full respect of U.S.-Iran agreement

Morocco has called for the swift implementation and full respect of the agreement reached between the United States and Iran on a memorandum of understanding, describing it as particularly important for consolidating the ceasefire and ensuring the long-term freedom of maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates stressed that the agreement represents a significant step toward preserving regional stability and securing one of the world's most strategic maritime routes.

Morocco also expressed its appreciation to the mediators whose efforts helped facilitate the breakthrough and contributed to the successful conclusion of the agreement.

The kingdom further voiced hope that the accord would pave the way for resolving other outstanding issues in accordance with international law, the statement concluded.
