Al Hoceima to open new economics and management faculty

A Faculty of Economics and Management will soon be established in Al Hoceima following approval by the Council of Abdelmalek Essaâdi University, which met in an ordinary session on Tuesday.

The new faculty will be located within the Aït Kamra university complex and is intended to expand the range of academic programs available in the province while better addressing the socio-economic needs of the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.

According to the university, the institution will help train skilled professionals in economics and management, aligning its programs with labor market demands and the region’s development priorities.

Abdelmalek Essaâdi University President Bouchta El Moumni said the project forms part of broader efforts to strengthen the university’s academic offering and bring higher education and scientific research closer to local realities and development challenges.

With the addition of the new faculty, the number of Abdelmalek Essaâdi University institutions in Al Hoceima will increase to six, covering a wide range of disciplines, including science and technology, law, engineering, commerce and management.
