Moroccan YouTuber Bn Nsns sentenced to 8 months in prison over dog eating video

The Temara Court of First Instance on Monday sentenced YouTuber Bn Nsns to eight months in prison and fined him 20,000 dirhams over a video showing him eating a dead dog during Eid al-Adha, an incident that sparked widespread public outrage.

The court also dismissed all civil claims brought by several associations and civil society organizations, limiting its ruling to the prison sentence and financial penalty.

Bn Nsns had been prosecuted on charges including insulting Islam, killing and mutilating an animal without justification, making threats to commit crimes, debauchery, incitement to violence, and publishing YouTube content deemed harmful to public order and public decency.
