Moroccan kickboxer Tarik Khbabez will challenge for the Glory light-heavyweight world title on December 12 at Collision 10 in Arnhem, marking his return to the promotion after resolving a long-running dispute over his contract.

The 34-year-old from The Hague will face fellow Dutch-Moroccan Mohamed Touchassie, the reigning champion who captured the title by defeating three opponents in a single-night Grand Prix and was later honored by King Mohammed VI.

«I have respect for Mo Touchassie, but on December 12, friendship stays outside the ring», Khbabez said. «I am coming back with one goal: to reclaim my world title. I never lost the belt in the ring, and now it is time to set things right».

Touchassie acknowledged the personal significance of the bout, saying: «I would rather not have fought him because he is a Moroccan compatriot. But this is our profession. As soon as the bell rings, we are professionals».

The fight will serve as the co-main event to the heavyweight title clash between Mory Kromah and Antonio Plazibat.
