Moroccan Special Operation Forces have partnered with their American counterparts to share their communicational and medical skills during Operation Flintlock 2017. The operation is a campaign held in Morocco, most precisely, in Tifnit to train and exchange expertise with 2000 personnel from 24 allied nations.
The exercise sponsored by the US Africa Command began on the 27th of February and will carry on till March the 16th according to FOFREP News online newspaper. The training aims to strengthen security institutions and promote multilateral sharing of information between counterterrorism partners from across Africa’s Sahara region.
Flintlock campaign is considered to be Africa’s largest special operations forces exercise to further training efforts in countering violent extremist organizations and other regional threats.
