A delegation from Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria visits Israel

A delegation of Moroccan, Tunisian and Algerian journalists and bloggers is currently on a visit to Israel. The visit, according to the Facebook page of the Israeli foreign ministry named “Israel Speaks Arabic”, holds the aim of discovering the country and viewing first hand its situation.

Members of the delegation visited yesterday all of Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Yad Vashem memorial to perpetuate the memory of the Holocaust victims. The delegation plans to visit today Israel Supreme Court and the Israeli parliament where they are supposed to meet with some parliament representatives.

According to the same facebook page, a member of the delegation declared «We came here to discover the true Israel away from media stereotypes».

The delegation members are hosted by the Israeli foreign ministry with the objective of shattering negative beliefs associated with the country’s image.
