The Mercer quality of life ranking motor has released a list that includes Casablanca and Rabat as one of the cities that have the best quality of life in the world.
Every year Mercer, the world’s largest HR consultancy firm, releases its quality of life index which examines the cities that provide the best quality of living.
The ranking is carried out annually to provide multinational companies and employees with pieces of information about different cities. Nonetheless, the ranking conducted by Mercer is based upon several metrics, such as the political and social environment of the city, housing, public transportation and education.
Casablanca was ranked as 125 while Rabat 117 and they were the only Moroccan cities listed in the ranking. On the other hand Dubai was ranked 74th and the first among Arab countries.
It was very captivating that cities like London and New York did not make it anywhere near the top of the list this year. However, Vienna capital of Austria took the lead of the list along with Zurich Switzerland and Auckland New Zealand.
