King Mohammed VI launched Friday 24th of March afternoon the construction of two proximity medical centers for Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity in Rabat and Tamara. Sanae Dadikh, Head of the Communication and Institutional development department of Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity declared that the project will reinforce the foundation’s local healthcare program in the region.
These two centers, which are part of the accessible health care policy, will promote the program launched by the Foundation. A senior Moroccan official declared to the media that Mohammed V Foundation had initiated in 2016 the construction of several local medical centers in different cities including Casablanca and Tangier.
The proximity medical centers of Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity will offer medical care to people who live in lower-income and disadvantaged neighborhoods. The project will provide these people with a range of medical equipments, emergency interventions when needed and health coverage for mothers and their offspring.
