Aziz Akhannouch sues 3 Moroccan journalists

Head of RNI party, Aziz Akhannouch, sued three Moroccan journalists namely Khalid Jamai, Hicham Amrani and Hamid Mahdaoui, owner of Badil.net. Akhannouch accuses the three journalists of defamation and the publication of false information.

In an interview filmed by Badil.net, a Moroccan online newspaper, Khalid Jamai has accused the Minister of Agriculture of “changing his political stances, inconsistency, and lack of charisma".

Akhannouch decided to file a defamation lawsuit against the three journalists and ask for MAD 1 million for the damage the statement would have caused him. The trial will take place in Sale’s First instance tribunal on the 10th of April.
