Local citizens in Ain Taoujdate, a small town in El Hajeb province, manifested yesterday night after a teenager was killed by an electric shock, Le Desk reports.

Mounir, who is only 13 years old, was out with friends his age to bath in Ain Amellal. He was electrocuted on his way home after clinging to a pylon of a railway as he tried to step over a low wall.

Protesters gatherd in front of the local hospital where the victim’s body was laid in a shroud, accusing the authorities of «neglect» , the same source indicates. One of the angry locals was shouting in a megaphone complaining about the situation in the region and saying «Mounir, rest in peace we will fight for you».

According to Le Desk, Ain Taoujdat’s local hospital refused to treat the patient in emergency and placed him in front of the building without letting him in. witnesses said that a number of people got out to the streets to denounce «the situation of the health sector in the region that people have been suffering from for years».
