500 fake Euros seized in Marrakech airport

The police department at Marrakech-Menara airport seized 102 bills of 500 Euros on Tuesday, including 99 false bills bearing the same serial number, said the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN).

These fake Euros were seized during the scanning of the suitcase of a French student, of Moroccan origins, who was traveling to Fez, said the DGSN in a statement.

The judicial police opened an investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor's office to elucidate the circumstances surrounding this case.
