After Paris, London, Doha and Baku, the Oriental Fashion Show is scheduled to be held in Marrakech. For its 21st edition, the event is committed to showcasing art and preserving Eastern traditional clothing, organizers said in a statement.
On the 22nd and 23rd of September, creators from Morocco, Algeria, Pakistan and Russia will present their latest collections at the Royal Mansour hotel in Marrakech. Lamia Lakhssassi, Mahe-Mi, Albert Ouaknine, Safaa Ibrahimi, Raishma, Menouca and other designers from the Maghreb, Asia, and the Middle East will attend the show.
«More than a succession of new collections, the OFS aims to deploy an oriental plural legacy in a market with a unique position : between culture and luxury.»
«The time of a mini-fashion week, the Oriental Fashion Show will sparkle the whole aura of Marrakech, while paying tribute to Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, lovers of Marrakech, a few days before the inauguration of the museum which will be dedicated to the work of the great French couturier,» concludes the statement.
