Morocco’s Sherine Hossni named Miss Arab World 2017

Sherine Hossni, a 23-year-old Moroccan national was named on Saturday Miss Arab World 2017 winning the pageant held in Giza, Egypt, reports GDN news.

Competing with 16 other contestants, the young student from Tafraout was selected as Miss Arab World –Morocco on November the 22nd in Ouerzazate.

Rania bin Ashoush from Algeria and Fawsya Abdul Ridha from Bahrain were respectively named as the first and second runners-up while Fatten Al-Shamsi from the United Arab Emirates and Ghofrane Ismael from Sudan were selected as third and fourth runners-up.

Egyptian artist, Ahmed Nour, Kuwaiti TV presenter Halimeh Boland, Festival Honoray Chairperson Jordanian Al-Sharifa Boudoor bin Abdulilah Al-Rubaian and the Pageant organizer Hanan Nasr were in the competition’s jury.

This is the third time that Morocco wins a title in the Miss Arab World competition since it was created. In 2016, Moroccan Nissrine Noubir was named Miss Arab World while in 2014 Salma Zakmout was granted the same title.
