Morocco is participating in the first meeting of the Arab restricted ministerial delegation in charge of countering the U.S decision to recognize Al-Quds as Israel’s capital, reports Map news agency.

At this meeting, which kicked off Saturday in Amman, the kingdom is represented by minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita.

Last December, the Arab League announced the setting up of a restricted ministerial delegation to counter the U.S decision.
The delegation is responsible for carrying out diplomatic and media actions in order to address the negative impacts of the U.S decision to recognize Al Quds as Israel’s capital and to move its embassy there.

This delegation is composed of the Foreign ministers of Jordan, Morocco, Palestine, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in addition to the secretary-general of the Arab League.
