Authorities in Sala Al Jadida dismantled, Tuesday morning, a migrant-smuggling network, the General Directorate for National Security said in a communiqué quoted by MAP news agency.
Two individuals, aged 35 and 39 years old, were arrested. The suspects are allegedly the ones who orchestrated migrant smuggling campaigns.
The two suspects were placed in police custody and an investigation has been launched by the authorities, the same source concluded.
