Sufyan Mustafa, the son of Egyptian hate preacher Abu Hamza and his Moroccan wife, is planning to return to the UK after fighting in the Syrian civil war against Bashar al-Assad’s regime, reports Metro UK.

Mustafa who is accused of terror-related offences and is suspected of being a Jihadi said that he is «desperate to return to Britain». However, the British authorities might not accept Mustapha’s request as he was stripped of his British citizenship.

According to the same source, the man «is believed to have Moroccan dual nationality through his mother Najat, meaning he wasn’t left stateless».

A source close to Mustafa told British newspaper the Sun that he «does not wish to go to Morocco and is desperate to return here».

«He has been told he can travel from Turkey to Morocco but doesn’t wish to», the same source said, adding that «the key thing is that he is not stateless as he has the option of going to Morocco. There is no obligation on the Home Office to accept him back».

For the record, Sufyan Mustafa is the seventh son of hooked-arm Abu Hamza. The latter was a cleric at the Finsbury park mosque, located in north London.

In 2006, he was convicted of terror offences for celebrating the 9/11 terror attacks. Abu Hamza served six years in a UK prison before he was deported to the US.
