The Polisario Front accuses Morocco of having tried to prevent the supporters of Brahim Ghali from attending an African Union meeting.

According to pro-Polisario news outlets, the meeting in question is the AU International Conference on Food Security, which was held on the 12th and 13th of February in Addis Ababa and co-chaired by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

«Morocco has again failed to prohibit the Saharawi delegation from attending the meeting», wrote online newspaper Futuro Sahara. The same source reports that «the AU Commission has indicated that the 55 countries of the pan-African organization have the right to take part in this meeting».

According to the Front’s press agency, the Polisario called on Morocco to put an end to this kind of «maneuvers» intended to sabotage the AU's vision to establish partnerships with different parties.
