On Wednesday, March the 6th, Sahrawis organized a demonstration in front of the Polisario’s headquarters, located in Rabouni, to denounce corruption in the Tindouf camps.
This «comes after several scandals were brought to light» in the recent months in the Front, reports pro-Polisario online newspaper Futuro Sahara.
According to the same source, another protest is scheduled for Monday in order to put pressure on the Front’s leadership.
On Tuesday, March the 5th, members of the Polisario’s «parliament» announced that they are determined to denounce «rooted corruption» within the separatist movement that controls the camps in southwestern Algeria.
They have even called Sahrawis to join the demonstration to protest against «immunity in the camps and hold the Polisario’s corrupt members accountable».
