Police in Guelmim arrested, Monday evening, a gunman, 44, who opened fire on several people near his place in the «Tagna» district, says MAP news agency.
The suspect, who was living abroad, opened fire randomly on passersby, using his hunting rifle. He killed a person born in 1991 and injured eleven others, including two police officers, said General Directorate of National Security in a communiqué.
The same source indicated that the injured were transferred to the city’s military hospital. The suspect was also sent to a hospital, pending judicial investigation, the statement concluded.
