A 26-year-old Italian man of Moroccan descent died on Saturday night in Rome after a traffic accident. According to Il Sussidiario, which quotes several local media, the accident occurred around 2.30 am. The young man was driving his scooter when, for reasons still unknown, he would have lost control of the vehicle.
Rescuers intervened immediately with the local police to transfer the victim to the nearest hospital. The young man died shortly after arriving to the emergency room.
An investigation was opened to determine the causes of this tragedy, the media concludes.
