The Spanish and Moroccan authorities have conducted an anti-terrorist operation that led to arrest an alleged jihadist in Morocco, Spanish news agency EFE reported on Wednesday.
The man in question was planning to carry out an attack in Seville, the agency said, quoting the Spanish Interior Ministry. At the same time, the police raided the suspect's home in the Andalusian town, according to the same source.
For the record, the Iberian country heightened since 2015 its terrorist threat level, Agence France-Presse (AFP) recalled.
