Spain’s Civil Guard has dismantled a criminal network that sends stolen heavy machinery to Morocco, Spanish news agency EFE reports. The Spanish authorities arrested seven people allegedly involved in these activities and are looking for five others.

Equipment worth €164,500 was seized by the authorities at the moment it was ready to be exported from Andalusian ports.

The investigation was launched on April the 12th, 2018 in Torrejoncillo, the Civil Guard said in a statement. Authorities managed to realize that a network was behind the stolen heavy machinery.
