The king instructs interior minister to organize elections for Moroccan Israelite communities

King Mohammed VI gave his instructions to the Interior Minister for the organization of elections of bodies representing the Moroccan Israelite communities, not held since 1969, said on Friday a statement by the Ministry of Interior.

The King also asked the Interior Minister to make sure that the renewal of these bodies is held, from now on, on a periodic basis pursuant to the provisions of Dahir dated May 7, 1945 related to the reorganization of the Israelite communities' committees, the same source added.
