Royal Moroccan Armed Forces’ personnel participate to a US military exercise in Agadir

Military personnel from the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces, the United Kingdom’s Ministry and the U.S are currently participating to a joint military exercise in Agadir, the United States Africa Command, one of ten unified combatant commands of the United States Armed Forces, announced in a communiqué published Monday.

Started on April the 29th, the joint military exercise known as Judicious Response Epic Guardian 19 is conducted at the invitation of the governments of Morocco, the United Kingdom and the United States, the same press release indicated.

«Exercises JUDICIOUS RESPONSE and EPIC GUARDIAN have previously been held as two separate, annual exercises that promote cooperation and understanding between our regional allies and partner nations», wrote the US Africa Command.

For the record, it is the second time that the US Africa Command holds an iteration of Judicious Response on the African continent. Iterations of Epic Guardian have been held before in Ghana, Malawi, Cameroon, Djibouti, Cabo Verde, Burkina Faso, and the Seychelles, the same source concluded.
