Moroccan police arrest a French national, facing arrest warrant

Police at the Marrakech-Menara International Airport arrested, Saturday, a 58-year-old French national, facing an international arrest warrant issued by the Swiss authorities. The suspect is sentenced to imprisonment in Switzerland in fraud case, police said Sunday in a statement relayed by MAP press agency.

According to the same source, the suspect, who was preparing to fly for Bordeaux in France, is accused of fraud in business in Switzerland. The arrestee was placed in custody and is expected to be extradited.
